About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a part-time Childcare Teacher at 1235 Parkside Acorn Drive, Inman, SC 29349. The role focuses on creating a safe, healthy, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, play, and grow. Teachers support children’s social and emotional development and foster learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. They also build partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. Foundations offers infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, with a focus on school readiness, socialization, literacy, problem-solving, self-esteem, and other life skills. Its classrooms use the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum with a STEAM focus.

Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
Be at least 18 years old.
Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.

EDU 119 or higher preferred.
