About The Position

The Sunshine House is hiring a part-time Childcare Teacher at its school at 1494 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, Georgia. The role supports the safety, education, and care of children in a nurturing early-learning environment. The advertised pay range is $13–$15 per hour; candidates with advanced education and early-childhood experience may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular pay increases are considered based on additional education, performance, and years of service. The teacher creates an engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow; supports their social and emotional development; and fosters a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. The role also involves building partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The Sunshine House has provided early education and childcare for 50 years and operates more than 100 schools across seven states. Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
At least 18 years old.
Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
