Childcare Teacher | Part-Time
About The Position
Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a part-time Childcare Teacher at its Sherrills Ford, North Carolina location. The role supports children’s learning and development in a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom. Teachers create engaging opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow; support social and emotional development; and encourage a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. They also build partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The center offers infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Its classrooms use the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum with a focus on STEAM. Hourly pay is $17–$19, based on education and experience, with potential increases for continued education, performance, and years of service.
Requirements
- Passion for working with young children.
- At least 18 years old.
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
- Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety and emergencies.
