About The Position

Housekeeping Aides help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the childcare center, supporting a clean and safe environment where children can learn and grow. They keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean and orderly; perform janitorial work; help clean equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls; maintain restrooms and refill dispensers; and assist with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements and the center/school’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
