About The Position

The Housekeeper supports the childcare center by maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities so children can learn and grow. The role includes cleaning the building, classrooms, playground, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls; completing janitorial tasks; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
