About The Position

Housekeeping Aides support the health and safety of children by maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the childcare center. They help keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly; perform janitorial tasks; clean school equipment and surfaces; and assist with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows and restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
