About The Position

This role supports the health and safety of children by maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly childcare center. The Housekeeper works around children and contributes to an environment where they can learn and grow. Duties include janitorial cleaning, maintaining school equipment and facilities, restocking restroom dispensers, and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements and the center/school's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Refill restroom dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
