About The Position

The Child Care Center Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly childcare center, including its building, classrooms, and playground. This role supports children’s ability to learn and grow by completing janitorial tasks, cleaning school equipment and facilities, replenishing restroom dispensers, and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays. The position requires comfort working around children, willingness to learn and grow in a team environment, and meeting applicable state education and center or school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
• Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
