Chief Concierge
About The Position
The Chief Concierge leads the Concierge team at Rosewood Calistoga in delivering exceptional, highly personalized guest experiences. The role serves as the resort’s foremost expert on local attractions, activities, dining, transportation, and bespoke experiences, and oversees daily Concierge operations. The Chief Concierge mentors and develops team members, builds community partnerships, and ensures intuitive, anticipatory service throughout each guest’s stay. The position combines operational leadership with direct guest engagement and a focus on luxury hospitality, relationship building, innovation, attention to detail, and service excellence.
Requirements
- Passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Leadership ability and interest in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Extensive destination knowledge and ability to create unique, customized experiences.
- Strong organization and resourcefulness, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a guest-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire Concierge professionals to deliver intuitive, personalized service.
- Curate itineraries, reservations, and bespoke experiences that connect guests with the destination.
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, wineries, restaurants, transportation providers, and experience operators.
- Anticipate guest needs and personally assist VIPs, repeat guests, and special occasion travelers.
- Collaborate with resort departments to ensure seamless execution of guest requests and experiences.
- Lead training, quality assurance, innovation, and continuous improvement of Concierge operations.
- Oversee daily Concierge operations and mentor and develop team members.
