About The Position

Compass Group USA is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee the success of both the culinary and food service operation. The role includes full culinary management of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving. The position emphasizes menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory, with a focus on sourcing and using local food products and a passion for sustainability. Knowledge of P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services are desirable.

Requirements

Working knowledge of HACCP.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience with exposition cooking.
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience are desirable.
