About The Position

Conducts replenishment pulling using powered equipment and builds pallets of product cases for stocking. Follows safety procedures while operating powered equipment throughout the warehouse. The role also supports distribution operations by overseeing incoming materials and supplies, inspecting equipment, handling pallets, maintaining safety and regulatory procedures, coordinating with other departments, monitoring inventory, and identifying opportunities to improve facility conditions and operational processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 year of prior relevant work experience.
Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the distribution department with overseeing incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and packages.
Inspect warehouse equipment and machinery to identify unsafe conditions and help prevent accidents.
Load and unload pallets using heavy operating machinery, such as forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
Maintain standard operating procedures in the warehousing department to meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Communicate with supporting departments and distribution facilities to support timely and accurate customer order fulfillment.
Compile educational materials, training, and presentations to instruct distribution staff on health and safety matters.
Monitor inventory levels and process stock transfer requests and purchase orders to ensure materials are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Observe the condition of the distribution facility and share notes with leadership for improvement recommendations.
Collect statistical data on distribution operation times and develop practical approaches to optimize processes.
