About The Position

Conducts pulling of replenishments using powered equipment and builds pallets of product cases for stocking. Follows safety procedures while operating powered equipment throughout the warehouse. The role also supports distribution operations by handling incoming materials, inspecting equipment, loading and unloading pallets, maintaining safety and regulatory procedures, coordinating with supporting departments, monitoring inventory, documenting facility conditions, and collecting operational data to improve processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 year of prior relevant work experience.
Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Pull replenishments using powered equipment and build pallets of product cases for stocking.
Assist the distribution department with oversight of incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and packages.
Inspect warehouse equipment and machinery to identify unsafe conditions and help prevent accidents.
Load and unload pallets using heavy operating machinery, such as forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
Maintain standard operating procedures throughout the warehousing department to meet safety and regulatory compliance.
Communicate with supporting departments and distribution facilities to support timely and accurate customer order fulfillment.
Compile educational materials, training, and presentations to instruct staff on health and safety matters within the distribution department.
Monitor inventory levels and process stock transfer requests and purchase orders so materials are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Observe the condition of the distribution facility and share notations with leadership for improvement recommendations.
Collect statistical data on distribution operation times and develop pragmatic approaches to optimize processes.
