About The Position

Conducts pulling of replenishments using powered equipment and builds pallets of product cases for stocking. Follows safety procedures while operating powered equipment throughout the warehouse. The role also supports distribution operations by overseeing incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and packages; monitoring inventory and purchase orders; maintaining warehouse safety and regulatory compliance; and helping improve operational processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 year of prior relevant work experience.
Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the distribution department with overseeing incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and packages.
Inspect warehouse equipment and machinery to identify unsafe conditions and help prevent accidents.
Load and unload pallets using heavy operating machinery, such as forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
Maintain standard operating procedures throughout the warehousing department to meet safety and regulatory compliance.
Communicate with supporting departments and distribution facilities to help ensure timely and accurate customer order fulfillment.
Compile educational materials, training, and presentations to instruct staff on health and safety matters within the distribution department.
Monitor inventory levels and process stock transfer requests and purchase orders to ensure materials are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Observe the condition of the distribution facility and share notations and improvement recommendations with leadership.
Collect statistical data on distribution operation times and develop pragmatic approaches to optimize processes.
