Hypori
•$160,000 - $180,000•Remote

About The Position

Hypori is seeking a hands-on Channel Sales Engineer to build the technical foundation for its new channel program. The role enables engineers at MSSPs, MSPs, RPOs, and C3PAOs to sell, scope, and deploy Hypori independently. The Channel Sales Engineer works alongside the Channel Account Manager and reports to the VP of Commercial Sales. Success is measured by partner-sourced pipeline, technical win rate, and partners’ ability to run deals without direct Hypori involvement. Hypori is a cybersecurity SaaS company whose virtual workspace platform provides access to enterprise apps and data from mobile devices while keeping data off the endpoint and protecting personal privacy. The platform is used by more than 95,000 Department of War users and has IL5, FedRAMP High, NIAP Common Criteria, NSA CSfC, CMMC 2.0 Level 2, and SOC 2 Type II credentials. The position is remote within the United States, with travel of up to 40 percent to partner sites and industry events. Compensation is $200,000–$225,000 on-target earnings, split 80/20 between base salary and variable compensation, with a base salary of $160,000–$180,000 depending on experience, plus equity. Targets are based on partner-sourced channel bookings, partner technical certifications, and technical win rate.

  • A track record supporting cybersecurity sales, with measurable technical win rates.
  • Hands-on experience enabling MSP or MSSP partners, including creating certification and enablement content.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171, including the ability to scope an assessment boundary and defend scope reduction.
  • Expertise in endpoint security architecture across mobile, identity, and data protection.
  • Fluency in MEDDPICC and strong Salesforce hygiene.
  • Ability to travel up to 40 percent to partner sites and industry events.
  • Demonstrated speed, focus, ownership, accountability, coachability, humility, and creativity, as described in the posting.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical credibility with partner lead engineers and compliance leads.
  • Knowledge of CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 topics, including CUI versus FCI, the five asset categories, unmanaged-device scope, External Service Provider considerations, FedRAMP Moderate equivalency under DFARS 7012, and SPRS scoring.
  • Microsoft 365 GCC High knowledge, including Commercial versus GCC versus GCC High, enclave versus full-tenant migration, and how Hypori can reduce the GCC High footprint.
  • Knowledge of endpoint and mobile security technologies, including MDM, UEM, MAM, mobile threat defense, EDR, enterprise browsers, VDI, and DaaS, and where data resides in each.
  • Knowledge of identity and networking, including SSO, SAML, SCIM, conditional access, Entra ID, Okta, derived credentials for CAC and PIV, and cloud networking in AWS and Azure.
  • Prior experience at an MSP, MSSP, RPO, or C3PAO serving defense contractors.
  • CMMC CCP or CCA, CISSP, Security+, or Microsoft security certifications.
  • Experience in an early-stage channel program.
  • Military service or Department of War civilian experience.

  • Equip partner sellers and compliance leads to present the CMMC scope-reduction argument.
  • Lead discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements for partner-led deals against agreed success criteria.
  • Use MEDDPICC to validate technical decision criteria, develop technical champions, and flag unqualified deals early.
  • Scope deployments across identity, multi-tenant design, app delivery, licensing, and assessment boundaries.
  • Answer security questionnaires, RFIs, and shared-responsibility requests.
  • Help partners package Hypori into managed service offerings, including multi-tenant administration and RMM, PSA, and SIEM integrations.
  • Bring partner and field requirements to Product and Engineering.
  • Support channel campaigns, webinars, and events, including CMMC CON.
  • Help establish the technical foundation for a broader security reseller and solution-provider channel over time.
