About the position
The job overview for this position is that Hiya is seeking a Channel Partner Marketing Manager to build and scale relationships with strategic partners, drive go-to-market strategy, and collaborate with the VP of Partnerships. The role involves owning channel marketing for referral partnerships, supporting the Indirect Channel Team, creating joint solution messaging and marketing plans, and collaborating with partner marketing teams. The successful candidate should have experience in SaaS channel marketing, technical B2B products, and telecom software industry. They should also possess strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to synthesize information for different audience segments.
Responsibilities
- Own channel marketing for all Hiya Connect referral partnerships: marketing to, through and with indirect referral partners
- Support Indirect Channel Team to attract and recruit new partners, train existing partners, and mention partner support
- Collaborate with both Technology Solution Brokers (TSB’s) and their referral partners on strategies to penetrate the existing customer base and ways to prospect into new customer accounts
- Build joint solution messaging and create marketing plans for a variety of types of partnerships, referral, co-sell and joint solutions
- Support the partner portal for enablement of marketing programs and tools
- Collaborate with partner marketing teams to drive marketing activities (i.e. webinars, events, ads, social, newsletters) as well as landing pages and joint content (i.e. fact sheets, case studies)
- Work together with Hiya product management to inform on potential joint value offerings
- Educate and enable indirect partner sales teams on the Hiya Connect product, Hiya Marketing resources, and sales process
- Continuously research market trends, opportunities and competitors and develop action plans to take advantage of opportunities and position against competitive threats
Requirements
- Experience in SaaS channel marketing, successfully marketing complex, technical B2B products or services with demonstrated ability to build and drive joint GTM plans
- 3+ years of SaaS marketing experience
- Experience working with TSB/TSD’s and the referral channel community
- Comfort operating in a technical software environment with an understanding of fundamental SaaS concepts
- Experience in the telecom software industry
- Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and Demand Generation
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or a related field
- MBA a plus
- Be able to rapidly grasp complex technical details and potential use cases for technology/innovation across industry/technology domains
- Have the ability to develop deep customer empathy and product expertise
- Think big and be able to determine strategy as well as be comfortable with hands-on execution
- Synthesize large amounts of information and be able to distill it for different audience segments in clear and effective ways
- Be able to identify and articulate joint value stories for potential partners and their customers
- Have excellent project management skills
- Be able to present with confidence to executives, peers, customers, and partners
- Have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work across multiple cross-functional teams
