About the position
The job overview for this position is that the Senior Product Manager for Hiya will be responsible for understanding the needs of enterprises and partners, and helping them succeed with Hiya Connect, a product suite for businesses to communicate with their customers. They will collaborate with internal and external teams to define long-term strategy, establish goals, and prioritize tasks. Additionally, they will work closely with customer success, sales, and operations teams to improve customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Head the customer development process and understand the needs of large, medium, and small size businesses in terms of calling their customers
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define long-term strategy and objectives
- Work with the engineering team, designers, and other product managers to establish quarterly goals and activities
- Participate in the creation of user stories, specs, roadmaps, and prioritize tasks and activities
- Represent the product and the company in visits to partners and customers
- Work closely with customer success, sales, and operations teams to improve customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention
- Have many years of experience in building fast-growing enterprise SaaS products
- Have a general manager/CEO mindset
- Led products from ideation to finding product-market fit
- Comfortable with data tools and using data dashboards to retain customers
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Serve customers, take action, improve oneself and the business, take ownership and accountability for success, and lead by engaging in discussion and respecting others' opinions
- Experience working at a startup
- Experience with SQL queries and APIs
- Proactive, decisive, and intuitive when data or facts are not available
- Demonstrated creativity and product ingenuity
Requirements
- Many years of experience in building fast growing enterprise SaaS products
- General manager / CEO mindset
- Led products from ideation to multiple iterations to find product-market fit
- Analytically-minded, comfortable with data tools and using data dashboards as a value proposition to retaining customers
- Mastery of SaaS metrics
- Experience leading the user experience of comprehensive Web-based services to enterprises/SMBs in nascent product categories
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, product copy, presentations, visualizations)
- Experience working at a startup
- Experience running queries using SQL
- Experience with APIs
- Proactive, decisive, and intuitive decision-making
- Demonstrated creativity and product ingenuity
