About the position

The job overview for this position is that the Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for hunting opportunities within large enterprises and utilizing a consultative sales approach for emerging technology. The successful candidate will have experience in winning deals, coordinating teams, and managing seven-figure deals. They should also have a passion for data and understand its importance in improving business efficiency and building successful customer relationships.

Responsibilities

- Become a consultative expert on Hiya's products, industry, and customers' challenges. - Learn and understand the KPIs customers track and how they quantify value/build a business case for new solutions. - Drive consensus on a pilot that supports Hiya's path to value while considering all confounding variables. - Build territory plans and account plans providing insight that can be leveraged by internal stakeholders. - Balance the long game with complex accounts and potentially quicker wins. - Maintain a realistic view of opportunities near closing, cultivating for the next quarter, what's at risk, what's getting traction, and what needs to be dropped. - Proactively inform internal teams and executives on account strategy and meeting preparation. - Share valuable learnings from the market. - Cultivate relationships and understand the needs of stakeholders and decision makers for each opportunity. - Push for executive alignment early and often. - Be a strategic thinker and always have a strategy in place. - Prioritize opportunities and tasks, eliminating distractions as needed. - Project manage opportunities with internal and external teams. - Handle objections, questions, and issues that arise. - Master the art of discovery and gather intelligence across the organization. - Appreciate quantifying data and understanding equations. - Collaborate with the right internal teams and provide meaningful market feedback. - Naturally lead a selling team on opportunities and hold the group accountable. - Embody Hiya's key values of serving customers, doing rather than observing, improving ourselves and our business, owning and holding ourselves accountable for success, and leading by showing up with a POV, engaging in discussion, listening respectfully to others' opinions, and committing to decisions. - Have experience leading a collaborative sales process involving many stakeholders to win six and seven figure technology deals in large global enterprises. - Run a consultative sales process involving a pilot that requires a quantitative assessment to prove success and assess ROI. - Work with SDRs to guide and coordinate outreach strategy. - Thrive in a startup culture as a resourceful self-starter.

Requirements

- Deep experience hunting and winning deals - Ability to lead by example and get hands dirty on outreach emails - Project management skills for coordinating teams with executives on seven-figure deals - Passion for data and understanding its power in improving business efficiency - Ability to build territory plans and account plans - Strong analytical thinking skills - Proactive in informing internal teams and executives on account strategy and meeting preparation - Ability to cultivate relationships and understand the needs of stakeholders and decision makers - Strategic thinker with experience penetrating large, confusing, siloed organizations - Highly organized and able to prioritize opportunities and tasks - Curiosity and ability to gather intelligence across organizations - Appreciation for quantifying data and understanding equations - Collaborative mindset and ability to include the right internal teams in strategies - Leadership skills in guiding a selling team and holding them accountable - Experience leading a collaborative sales process to win six and seven-figure technology deals - Familiarity with running a consultative sales process involving a pilot and assessing ROI - Ability to work with SDRs to guide outreach strategy - Resourceful self-starter with the ability to thrive in a startup culture
