About The Position

Relient Health is recruiting licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time, in-person, permanent direct-hire positions in established rehabilitation departments across Texas. These are not travel, contract, or PRN positions. Openings may be in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric settings, home health, or mixed-setting rehabilitation roles, depending on location. Current markets include Arlington, Cedar Park, Dalhart, Gonzales, Pasadena, Athens, Austin, Bryan, Camp Wood, Fort Worth, and Monahans, along with additional Texas markets. The position is reserved for licensed COTAs or candidates eligible for or pending Texas licensure. COTAs implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist and provide occupational therapy services that support patients’ daily living activities, functional skills, safety, and independence.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
Active Texas COTA license, or eligibility for or pending Texas licensure.
Ability to work full-time in one of the listed Texas markets.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Deliver occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation setting.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, functional skills, safety, and independence.
Document patient care in EMR systems in accordance with state, federal, and facility standards.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, rehabilitation staff, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary care providers.
