Requirements

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification/licensure in good standing
Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and support acute rehab goals
Availability to start on 08/17/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
Willingness to travel for a travel assignment and adapt to the assigned location
Effective communication and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed OT, in collaboration with the care team.
Implement and adapt treatment plans, track patient progress, and document outcomes in the chart.
Conduct ROM, therapeutic exercises, strengthening activities, edema management, ADL training, and mobility/transfer coaching.
Support activities of daily living, functional mobility, gait training, and safety education for residents.
Maintain a safe, clean therapy space, ensure proper equipment setup, and comply with infection control and facility policies.
