About The Position
Southfield Village, a faith-based, nonprofit community within Greencroft Communities, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Assisted Living department in South Bend, Indiana. The CNA supports residents with daily needs while encouraging independence and respecting individual preferences. The role emphasizes building relationships with older adults and helping create a comfortable, welcoming home environment through compassionate, dependable care. This is a full-time evening position with a consistent schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Base pay is $19.46–$21.74 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour evening shift differential and $2.00 per hour weekend differential. Requirements
- Current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Genuine interest in working with older adults.

- Commitment to promoting resident choice, dignity, and independence.

- Previous senior care or Assisted Living experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
- Provide personalized care while promoting residents’ dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
- Help residents with evening routines, including preparing for bedtime.
- Provide companionship and engage with residents throughout the shift.
- Observe residents and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Work with nurses and fellow team members to provide quality resident care.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
- Build positive relationships with residents and families through dependable, compassionate service.
