About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in assisted living, providing residents with support in activities of daily living and helping maintain their personal environment. The role also includes transporting residents within the community, responding safely and promptly to requests and emergencies, and following resident care plans.

Requirements

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the State of Kansas is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

• Experience working with an elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
