About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personalized care to seniors in an assisted living community. CNAs work with community management, check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care, perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy, and communicate resident status at the beginning and end of each shift. The role requires successful completion and maintenance of a state CNA/STNA certification. Requirements
- Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course.
- Must maintain CNA/STNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain state CNA/STNA certification.
