About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on patient care in a skilled nursing setting, assists with activities of daily living, and helps ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity. The role is full-time on the evening shift at Skilled Nursing at Hollymead in Flower Mound, Texas. The CNA works with the healthcare team to follow individualized care plans, communicate patient changes, document care, and maintain a clean and safe environment. The position requires an active CNA certification and the ability to safely assist with patient movement and transfers.

Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and a patient-first mindset.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
Monitor and observe patients and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
Document patient care and daily activities accurately and in accordance with regulations.
Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety.
