About The Position

Covenant Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily direct care to older adult residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The role supports residents’ quality of life and helps create peace of mind for residents and their families in a supportive, faith-based community. The position may also be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state and passing its test.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents according to procedures and daily assignments.
• Assist residents with basic personal care, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation or transfers.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, and closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away.
• Notify a supervisor of residents’ clothing needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
