About The Position

Priority Life Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide respectful, compassionate care to residents in a senior-care setting. CNAs build personal connections with residents, support their comfort, dignity, and independence, and work courteously with coworkers while following procedures established by state and federal regulations. The posted pay is $16.50 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of previous long-term care experience, unless qualifying through an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with residents and help maintain their dignity and independence.
• Assist with moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Assist residents with daily physical and hygiene care needs.
• Help residents prepare for activities and social programs.
• Prepare residents for meals and record or report their food intake or acceptance.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status and condition.
• Observe and report physical or emotional changes in residents.
• Promote a safe and clean environment.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Assist families and other visitors as needed.
• Comply with applicable state, federal, health care, and safety standards.
• Promote and exemplify Priority Life Care’s mission and values.
