Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Shower Aide
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Shower Aide provides direct care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, following each resident’s care plan and supervisor direction. The role helps maintain a safe environment, provides emotional and social support, and attends to residents’ physical needs and comfort. Duties include assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. The position also follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice, and performs other duties as directed by community representatives. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with shifts listed as 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. The wage is $21.00–$24.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold a current, good-standing nursing assistant certification registry status applicable under the laws of the state of employment, or otherwise meet state legal requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant.
- Have a high school diploma or GED, or be actively enrolled in a high school program.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care in accordance with care plans and supervisor direction.
- Help maintain a safe environment and provide emotional and social support to residents.
- Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort.
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily activities.
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice.
- Perform other duties as directed by community representatives.
