About The Position

Visiting Angels of Wichita Falls is hiring a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to support senior adults and home-care clients in the local area, including Bowie, Jacksboro, Henrietta, Petrolia, and Montague. The role helps clients remain at home or recover at home with dignity. Caregivers provide personal care, household assistance, meal and shopping support, mobility assistance, companionship, and medication reminders. They must respond appropriately to medical emergencies and report health changes or unusual circumstances. Shift options listed include full-time, part-time, PRN, 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and short one-hour shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent time-management skills.
Reliable transportation to client visits.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
Manage light housekeeping.
Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the right times.
Help clients shop and put away groceries, or shop on their behalf.
Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients, based on client ability.
Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including moving around the home, attending doctor visits, and taking walks.
Respond quickly to medical emergencies.
Report health changes or unusual circumstances.
