About The Position
Health First Medical Group is hiring a part-time Certified Medical Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care at practices across Brevard County, Florida. Opportunities may be available across different specialties and locations. The role partners with multiple providers and may require floating between Health First Medical Group locations. The stated shift is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexible Monday–Friday scheduling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus a Medical Assisting technical diploma, or at least 6 months of related clinical experience.
- Current CMA or RMA certification from an accepted organization.
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card before the start date and maintained thereafter.
- Ability to pass required colorblind testing.
- Ability to travel between facilities using a personal vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Medical Assistant experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for care, including intake, taking vital signs and histories, and verifying medications.
- Support examinations, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate documentation, coordinate follow-up, and provide patient education.
- Partner with multiple providers and float between Health First Medical Group locations as needed.
