About The Position

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Centralized Scheduler will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health’s Outpatient Program. In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500.00! Pay: $18.67 - $20.76 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• One year employment experience in the Medical Records or Human Services field
• Knowledge and understanding of the federal confidentiality laws relating to populations served
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Sound judgment and cultural competency
• Proficiency with basic computer applications
• Ability to perform duties independently

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree preferred
• An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet each patient cordially and professionally in person and on phone.
• Schedule patient individual and medical sessions.
• Maintain clinical and medical staff “will call” and “back-fill” lists and schedules accordingly.
• Confirm status updates of patient appointments.
• Perform Quality Assurance activities.
• Participate in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
