About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Centralized Scheduler for its Centralized Scheduling Department at the Avita Crestline location. The position arranges efficient, orderly admissions for inpatients and for individuals receiving hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. The scheduler collects patient information and ensures patients understand hospital policies and procedures. The role also participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience dealing with customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience or education working with financial accounts.

- Associate degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Arrange efficient and orderly admissions for inpatients and individuals receiving hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
- Collect patient information and ensure patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
- Interview incoming patients or their representatives.
- Enter required admission information into a computer database.
- Distribute appropriate information to ancillary departments.
- Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
