About The Position

Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, part of the Volare Health portfolio of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers, is hiring for Central Supply in Medford, Oregon. The role supports the facility by verifying daily census and preparing and distributing supplies according to facility needs, while maintaining inventory and organized supply areas. The position also involves assisting administrative and nursing staff, working cooperatively with residents and facility partners, and following resident privacy and safety policies.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

• Verify census daily and prepare and distribute supplies to meet the facility's needs.
• Monitor inventory and stock supplies maintained at nurses' stations and supply points; distribute appropriate supplies.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Assist administrative and nursing staff as assigned.
• Report to work as scheduled and demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Wear neat attire and maintain an appropriate professional appearance.
• Work cooperatively with residents, representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers.
• Protect residents' protected health information (PHI) and promptly report suspected or known disclosure violations to the Administrator.
• Ensure unattended department computer workstations are logged off or have a password-protected screensaver activated in accordance with facility policy.
• Immediately report suspected resident abuse to the Administrator.
