About The Position
BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC. is hiring a CDL Route Driver at its Clayton, Georgia branch to deliver propane locally to commercial and residential customers in the Rabun County area. Drivers make safe, timely deliveries along established routes. The role involves customer service, occasional on-call duty, and contributing to a team-oriented work environment while supporting the company’s products and services. Overnight or extended travel is not required, and driving in all-weather conditions is routine. The company describes itself as growth-oriented, with a commitment to teamwork and ongoing learning. Pay depends on prior propane or route sales experience. Full-time and part-time openings are available; part-time work is less than 30 hours per week. Requirements
- A valid CDL is required.
- A clean driving record is needed.
- Obtain CDL hazmat and tanker endorsements within 60 days of hire; the company can help with this process.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policy.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to drive and deliver in all-weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of propane delivery or residential/commercial-related CDL-B delivery experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior propane, route delivery, or route sales experience.
- Strong mechanical experience.
Responsibilities
