About The Position

The Bulk CDL Driver makes deliveries within Valvoline’s Indianapolis direct market territory, operating Class B trucks. Deliveries include products ranging from bulk lubricants to packaged freight. The role involves regular interaction with customers, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and management, representing Valvoline’s service commitment.

In addition to driving, the employee supports warehouse operations as needed, including order picking, loading and unloading trucks, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks to support timely and accurate deliveries. The position follows a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Deliveries are made to customers daily in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.

Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials and tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull more using tools such as a drum dolly or pallet jack.
• At least 2 years of safe commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Strong work history.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and team player.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Drive Valvoline vehicles, including straight trucks with on-board pumping systems or bulk tankers, to customer locations and deliver products with a focus on superior customer service.
• Efficiently load and unload bulk tankers and packaged freight trucks.
• Operate forklifts.
• Perform other warehouse functions to support overall plant operations.
• Assist with facility regulatory and environmental goals as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline.
