About The Position

The Bulk CDL Driver makes deliveries throughout the Indianapolis direct market territory in Class B trucks. Deliveries include bulk lubricants and packaged freight. The role involves regular interaction with customers, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and management, and represents Valvoline's service commitment. The driver also supports warehouse operations as needed, including picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

This position follows a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Deliveries are made outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials and tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull more using tools such as a drum dolly or pallet jack.
• At least 2 years of safe commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Strong work history.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and team-player approach.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive Valvoline vehicles, including straight trucks with onboard pumping systems and bulk tankers, to customer locations and deliver products with a focus on superior customer service.
• Load and unload bulk tankers and packaged freight trucks efficiently.
• Operate forklifts.
• Perform other warehouse functions to support plant operations, including order picking and using pallet jacks as needed.
• Assist with facility regulatory and environmental goals as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline.
