About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated CDL B Local Route Driver to join its Operations team. The driver safely operates a commercial driver’s license vehicle and provides customer service while managing an assigned local route. The role supports secure, timely service to clients and helps maintain Iron Mountain’s reputation. The position is located at 6120 Churchman Bypass, Indianapolis, IN 46203. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until completion. Compensation is $24.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in route transportation or a similar field.
Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including DOT requirements.
Customer service and verbal communication skills.
Physical ability to carry, lift, and maneuver materials as required by the role.
Valid Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate and maintain company CDL vehicles for scheduled pickups and deliveries while following Department of Transportation and Iron Mountain safety regulations.
Manage route logistics from start to finish, including securely loading, transporting, and unloading materials without assistance.
Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and clients to address service needs.
Represent Iron Mountain through strong customer service and professional conduct.
