About The Position
BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC. is hiring a CDL Route Driver for nightly propane deliveries from its Miami-area branch. The driver services established commercial accounts that prefer nighttime deliveries throughout Broward and Dade counties, Florida, and is normally scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The work is local, with drivers at home during daylight hours. Blossman Gas describes itself as a growing company with more than 85 locations and offers training and professional development. The position involves safely and promptly delivering propane to commercial and residential customers on established routes. It combines driving with customer service, relationship selling, teamwork, and physical work outside the truck cab. Delivery work takes place in all-weather conditions and requires adherence to company safety policies. A valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required within 90 days of hire; the company says it can assist with this process. Requirements
- Valid CDL; hazmat and tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overnight, normally from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Ability and willingness to drive and deliver in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, and pulling.
- Customer service orientation and ability to contribute in a teamwork environment.
