About The Position
BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC. is hiring a CDL Route Driver for its Jackson, Mississippi area branch. The role delivers propane on established local routes to commercial and residential customers in the greater Rankin and Hinds County areas. Drivers work locally each day, without overnight or extended trips, and are responsible for safe, timely deliveries in varying weather conditions. The position combines driving and delivery with customer service and relationship selling, while representing the company’s products and services. Blossman Gas provides ongoing safety education and training, and can assist with obtaining the required endorsements. Compensation depends on relevant experience; the posting describes mid-$50,000 compensation, with potential additional earnings through bonuses and overtime. Requirements
- Valid CDL.
- Obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
- Clean driving record.
- Commitment to safety and ability to drive and deliver in all-weather conditions.
- Enjoy customer service and relationship selling, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Prior propane, route delivery or sales experience, or strong mechanical experience is sought.

Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually deliver propane to commercial and residential customers on established local routes.
- Provide customer service and build customer relationships through relationship selling.

- Perform regular bending, lifting, and pulling.
