About The Position

Blossman Gas & Appliance is hiring a Service Apprentice for its Margate location, serving the Margate/Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. The role offers a locally based career path at an established propane company. Apprentices work alongside Service Technicians to gain hands-on experience, supported by classroom and online learning. With specified educational milestones, the apprenticeship can progress to Service Technician, Senior Service Technician, and Master Technician roles.

Apprentices help install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers and install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment, including water heaters, dryers, ranges and stoves, fireplaces, and generators. The position requires customer service skills, a commitment to safety, teamwork, and occasional on-call duty. Prior experience is not required, but mechanical aptitude, some prior mechanical work or hand-tool use, and a positive attitude toward learning a trade are important for success. Apprentice pay starts at $24 per hour and depends on prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Help install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.

• Provide customer service and contribute to a team environment.
