Service Technicians install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers and install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment, including water heaters, dryers, ranges and stoves, fireplaces, and generators. Apprentices learn the trade while working alongside a seasoned Senior or Master Technician. The position requires customer service skills, participation in a team environment, and a strong commitment to safety consistent with company policy. Technicians may have occasional on-call duty. Pay is hourly: $25 or more for technicians depending on qualifications and CDL status, and $20–$22 for apprentices depending on prior mechanical experience.
