About The Position

BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC. is hiring a local CDL Route Driver for its La Fayette, Georgia branch. The role delivers propane safely and on time along established routes to residential and commercial customers in the Walker County area. Drivers work locally and are not required to travel overnight or for extended periods. The position involves customer service, occasional on-call duty, and contributing to a team-oriented work environment while promoting the company's products and services. The company seeks a safety-conscious person motivated to grow professionally. Driving and making deliveries in all-weather conditions is routine, and the work includes regular bending, lifting, and pulling. A valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required within 60 days of hire; the company can assist with this process. Pay depends on prior propane or route sales experience.

Requirements

Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements within 60 days of hire.
Clean driving record.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance with company policy.
Customer service skills.
Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, and pulling.

Nice To Haves

Five or more years of propane delivery or residential/commercial-related CDL-B delivery experience is strongly preferred.
Prior propane, route delivery, or route sales experience.
Strong mechanical experience.
