About The Position
Blossman Gas & Appliance is hiring Gas Service Technicians and Service Apprentices for its Fredericksburg, Virginia area operations. The company is an established independent propane provider with more than 85 branch locations in 12 states. The roles offer local work, stability, and opportunities for professional growth. Service Technicians regularly install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers and install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment, including water heaters, dryers, ranges and stoves, fireplaces, and generators. Apprentices learn through on-the-job training and classroom experiences, progressing toward the Service Technician designation on a set but flexible timeline. The positions require customer service skills, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety in accordance with company policy. The roles offer competitive hourly pay based on prior experience and CDL credentials. CDL positions include some on-call rotation, with compensation for helping customers after normal work hours.
