About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to deliver building materials safely to customers and job sites. The driver follows assigned delivery schedules and job directives, documents deliveries using the company’s camera phone system, and works with a Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them. The role may also include warehouse work, such as loading or unloading trucks and moving materials into or out of the warehouse. This position does not require over-the-road travel and offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with drivers home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Inspect the truck load before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler on material placement and unloading.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials from trucks or moving them into or out of the warehouse.
