About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver building products safely and professionally. The driver is responsible for each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site, follows the assigned delivery schedule and job directives, and helps maintain a safe work zone. The position does not require over-the-road travel. Duties may also include warehouse work and loading or unloading materials as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Box truck and/or flatbed truck experience.
• Straight truck and/or conveyor truck experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of deliveries by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where materials should be placed and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials on or off trucks or into the warehouse, as assigned.
