About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role involves loading and unloading deliveries, collecting customer returns, inspecting and maintaining the truck, and following company and DOT safety requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed. Drivers are home daily, with no nights or weekends.

Requirements

Hold a valid CDL.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that the product matches credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
