About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; hours may vary, and overtime may be possible. The driver uses a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload deliveries, provides the delivery ticket with the material, and handles customer returns. The role also includes vehicle inspections and basic warehouse duties. The driver must follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

Hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Communicate effectively and take a customer-focused approach.
Navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Nice To Haves

Prior flatbed experience is preferred.
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel as needed with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Adhere to safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
