About The Position

ABC Supply Interiors is a specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials for commercial and residential contractors. The CDL Delivery Truck Driver ensures the safety and accuracy of deliveries from departure from the facility through completion at the delivery site. This is a local role and does not require over-the-road travel. Duties may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading materials on or off trucks or into the warehouse.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry 250 pounds with assistance.

• Drywall boom truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to and from delivery sites.
• Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed.
• Physically handle materials with a co-worker.
• Oversee safe loading of the delivery vehicle, ensuring orders are accurate and products are in good condition.
• Follow regulatory agency and company safety directives, traffic laws, and weight limits.
• Supervise and expedite unloading at delivery sites to ensure safe and accurate delivery of building materials.
• Maintain site safety as it relates to the delivery.
• Distribute and place specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
• Safely operate a boom, crane, or Gradall as needed for customer requirements.
• Ensure delivered products are neatly placed and orderly and presentable.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials on or off trucks or into the warehouse.
