About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to make ground and rooftop deliveries while ensuring the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. The role involves following assigned delivery schedules and job directives, maintaining a safe work zone, documenting deliveries, and coordinating with a Delivery Material Handler. The position does not require over-the-road travel. Responsibilities may also include warehouse work and loading or unloading materials.

Requirements

• Valid CDL, Class A or B.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site delivery.
• Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and follow job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos through the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon completing each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
• Make ground and rooftop deliveries.
