About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver building materials safely from the branch to customer job sites. The role involves local deliveries and does not require over-the-road travel. Drivers are expected to ensure each delivery is safe and complete, follow schedules and job directives, and provide professional customer service. The position may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading materials.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
Completion of pre-employment and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
Document each delivery by taking and uploading photos using the company camera phone system.
Complete a load check before leaving the branch, secure delivery materials, and ensure the truck complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler on where to place materials and unload them.
Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
