About The Position

Cauler Containers Inc. is hiring a CDL B Trash Truck Driver for local residential waste routes in Lancaster and Chester Counties, generally within about an hour of Quarryville, Pennsylvania. The family-owned, faith-based waste removal company has served the area since 1999 and describes its culture as safety-focused, respectful, and team-oriented.

The driver operates a rear-load trash truck, collects and transports residential waste, completes truck inspections, maintains accurate records, and supports the loader with large or bulky items as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a report time of 4:00 AM and typical 10- to 12-hour days, totaling approximately 50 hours weekly. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. Drivers are home each night; Saturday work may occur during holiday weeks.

The starting wage is $25 per hour, with a $1,500 safety and performance bonus. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a retirement plan with a 3% company match.

Requirements

• Hold a valid CDL Class B license.
• Have at least one year of commercial driving experience, required for insurance.
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow safety protocols.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work a route without constant supervision.
• Communicate clearly and work well with others.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly bend, kneel, and climb in and out of the truck.

Responsibilities

• Safely and responsibly operate a rear-load trash truck.
• Follow assigned routes through Lancaster and Chester Counties, within about an hour of Quarryville.
• Load and transport residential waste efficiently and securely.
• Inspect the truck before and after routes and promptly report issues.
• Help the loader with large or bulky items as needed.
• Treat customers and the public professionally and respectfully.
• Keep accurate records in accordance with PennDOT and company standards.
• Assist with basic cab cleaning and truck maintenance when required.
