About The Position

Requirements

Class A CDL
21 or older
2 or fewer moving violations in the last 2 years
No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a hair and urine drug test

Responsibilities

Drive dry van freight in the 11 western states.
Complete runs that are usually 2 days or less.
Achieve 1,700–2,100 miles a week.
Be home every 2 weeks.
Handle assigned truck, which is typically a Freightliner, about 1.5 years old, with an automatic or 10-speed transmission.
Operate trucks that are often equipped with an APU or inverter.
Haul freight that is almost never touch-freight (99% of loads).
Engage in drop and hook for approximately 80% of loads.
Receive payment for extra stops beyond the first and last.
Receive payment for assist or pallet jack unloads.
Receive payment for full hand unloads.
